Have you ever stopped to consider how much Computer Technology has affected the world we live in? In fact the GE Fanuc PLC is only the latest on a long line of components in Computer Technology that are racing us towards the future. With technology rapidly advancing you can only imagine what will be around 50 years from now, and let alone 1000 years from now. To think that flight for instance went from the Wright Brothers to the space shuttle and a single lifetime as copper bowl to the advancement in Computer Technology that we've seen in that same span. It's difficult to overstate how amazing these advancements have been but you certainly can see the results in your day to day life. As I stated earlier think about how your smart phones change your life for instance. 15 years ago it would have been unimaginable to do the things that smart phones can do. So what do you think will happen in 15 years from now? Probably the only people than really know the answer or those who are literally on the cusp of technology and who work in the field. For the rest of us we simply have to sit back and one there we'll come out in the next generation. One thing is for certain however and that is that we can expect technology to becoming even more prevalent part of our day to day lives as time goes forward.
