Ford has been at the forefront of delivering new technology in its new cars. The latest addition to this is SYNC with my Ford Touch. This is a new system integrated by Ford; it is a voice-activated in-car connectivity platform that allows the driver to control the vehicle's major functions through spoken commands.
SYNC with my Ford Touch can also synchronise with media devices and phones enabling hands free control of entertainment and communication devices. Ford claims that SYNC with MyFord Touch is set to revolutionise the way that car drivers communicate both with the car and with the outside world whilst in the car.
Initially the technology was only available to customers in North America but it has since been developed to make it compatible with the European market and new Ford in Brighton. Ford SYNC was developed in partnership with Microsoft to offer drivers the best solution in staying connected while on the move, safely.
Ford has become the leading automotive manufacturer to embrace new technology and this is evident in the number of technology exhibitions it is invited to make speeches at. The latest invite comes from CeBIT. Ford President and CEO Alan Mulally will deliver the keynote address at the 2011 CeBIT show on 1st March 2011 in Hannover, Germany about Fords SYNC technology and how he envisages it evolving over the next few years.
Alan Mully said about his speech, "I am honoured that I will be sharing our Ford story at CeBIT. We committed to our customers that we will deliver best-in-class quality, fuel economy, safety, value and really smart technologies such as SYNC with MyFord Touch in every vehicle from Ford, including the all-new Ford Focus."
